Local Outreach
Eastside High School & other Newton County Schools
One of the ways we enjoy being the hands of Jesus locally is involvement in the local schools. Eastside High School is directly across the street from us and we engage with the staff there to support in any way we can. For example, we provide Snack Packs for students who are nutritionally insecure with no reliable food sources over the weekends. These packs provide healthy nutrition as well as an encouraging note so the student knows we are cheering for them! 10% of our collection on the 1st Sunday of every month goes toward these efforts.
Benevolence
We remain alert for the Lord to show us areas where He wants us to serve. Sometimes it may be collecting toiletries to make supply bags for local homeless ministries. Other times it may be building a ramp for someone who is caring for a disabled family member. Another time it may be delivering flowers for a grieving family. Wherever the Lord leads, we want to serve. 10% of our collection on the 4th Sunday of every month goes towards benevolence activities.

Newton Pregnancy Resource Center
This ministry serves those in Newton County and the surrounding areas who are facing an unplanned pregnancy. They offer various types of support in the name of Jesus Christ. 10% of our collection on the 3rd Sunday of every month goes to NPRC.

Samaritan's Purse
Samaritan's Purse was fashioned after the story of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:30-37) when Jesus then said, "Go and do likewise." They work in crisis areas around the world, responding to natural disasters, famines, and other places where people are hurting. 10% of our collection on the 2nd Sunday of every month goes to Samaritan's Purse's global efforts.
